Most resumes are filtered by software before a person sees them. tailorurCV exists to make sure yours survives that step and still reads like it was written for a human.
What tailorurCV does
You build one structured profile — from a PDF or DOCX you already have, from a short guided form, or from a few sentences describing your background. From then on, every application works against that single profile rather than a folder of near-duplicate files.
Paste a job description and the profile is scored against it: which responsibilities and skills matched, which are missing, and what to fix first. You can then tailor the resume for that specific role, render it in any template, export it as PDF or DOCX, and keep the application in a tracker alongside its ATS score, notes and interview prep.
Why it is built this way
A generic resume sent to forty postings performs worse than a tailored one sent to ten, but tailoring by hand is slow enough that almost nobody sustains it. Separating the profile from the output is what makes it cheap: the history is entered once, and each posting only costs the rewrite.
The gap analysis is shown before you apply rather than after, because that is the only point at which it is still useful.
Where your data lives
Your profile, generated files and tracker rows are stored per account on the server, not in the browser, so they survive a closed tab or a switch of device. That is also why an account is required past the preview step — before it, nothing has been saved.
