Terms of service

Using tailorurCV means you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract.

You build one structured profile from a resume you upload or details you enter. Against that profile the service scores job descriptions, produces tailored resumes and cover letters, renders them into templates, exports them as PDF or DOCX, generates interview questions and practice papers, and tracks your applications.

It is a drafting and analysis tool. It does not apply to jobs on your behalf, does not contact employers for you, and is not a recruitment agency, an employer, or a career or legal adviser.

One account per person. Keep your sign-in secure and do not share access — anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us promptly if you think someone else is in it; you can end sessions on other devices yourself from your settings.

The free tier includes five AI credits, spent by tailoring and by an ATS review — one per job description, with no card required. Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: it grants 30 credits valid for 30 days. Nothing renews automatically and nothing is charged again unless you buy again.

Pro costs ₹500 in India and $12 everywhere else, plus 18% GST added at checkout. Payments are processed by Razorpay, which settles in Indian Rupees: until it approves international settlement for this account, a price quoted in US dollars is charged to your card as the equivalent amount in Indian Rupees, and your bank converts it back at its own rate. The pricing page shows both prices and the exact amount your card is charged before you pay.

Credits do not stack. Buying Pro starts a fresh allowance and a fresh 30-day window, and any credits still remaining from a previous purchase are discarded at that moment. Buy at the end of a window, not the middle of one. Unused credits expire when the 30 days end and are not carried over or refunded.

A credit is spent when a tailored resume is generated. If a generation fails on our side, the credit is returned automatically. Current prices are on the pricing page; we can change them at any time, but never for a purchase already made.

If a purchase does not work as described, write to us within 7 days of the payment and we will refund it in full, provided no more than three credits have been used. Beyond that, credits that have been consumed have been delivered and are not refundable — the output exists and you have it.

The currency you are charged in depends on the market you are in and on what our payment provider can accept there, so the same plan may be priced differently in different countries. The exact amount and currency are shown on the pricing page and again in the payment provider’s own checkout window before you confirm, and that figure is what is charged.

Duplicate charges and failed payments that were still debited are refunded in full whenever they are reported. Refunds go back to the original payment method and take as long as the payment provider and your bank take, typically 5 to 10 working days.

There is no subscription to cancel: nothing renews, and no card is kept on file. The full policy — including how to ask, what happens with an international card, and what deleting your account does and does not do — is on the refund and cancellation policy page. This section is the binding version if the two ever disagree.

Scores, rewrites, cover letters and interview questions are generated by a language model. It can be wrong, it can be generic, and it can state something about your experience that you never told it. Read everything before you send it. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit to an employer, including anything this service drafted for you.

An ATS score here is an estimate produced outside the employer’s own system. No tool can read that system, and nothing here is a prediction or a promise of an interview, an offer, or a job.

You agree not to:

• Upload a resume or personal details belonging to someone else without their permission.
• Submit content that is unlawful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Resell, sublicense or white-label the service, or run it as a service for third parties.
• Scrape it, automate it, or drive it through anything other than the interface provided.
• Work around credit limits, rate limits or spend caps, including by creating extra accounts.
• Attempt to extract prompts or model behaviour, probe for vulnerabilities, or interfere with other accounts.

Fair-use limits apply to AI-backed features — a cap on calls per minute and per hour, and a monthly spend cap per account. They exist to stop one account exhausting a shared resource, and are not a promise of any particular throughput.

You keep every right in what you upload and in the documents generated from it. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, send it to the processors named in the privacy policy, and produce the output you asked for. We do not claim ownership of your resume and we do not use your content to train models.

We keep every right in the platform itself — the software, the templates, the brand and the name. Nothing here transfers any of it to you.

Some links out of the service — job postings, courses — may be affiliate or sponsored links that earn us a commission. Where that is the case it is labelled on the link itself, not buried on this page. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them, and a commission never changes what the analysis tells you.

We aim to keep the service up but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may be added, changed or withdrawn. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches section 7, or that we are legally required to close; where a paid credit balance is unused and the breach was not deliberate, we will refund it.

The service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind beyond those the law requires and does not permit us to exclude. We are not liable for lost jobs, lost opportunities, lost profits, or for anything that follows from a decision you made using output you did not check.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited in total to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ten US dollars. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove rights you have under the mandatory law of your own country.

When these terms change materially, the effective date above moves and we will say what changed. Continuing to use the service after that means the new version applies. If you do not accept a change, stop using the service and ask us to close the account.
